Statement from the Board Chair/Board President
Building Stronger Marriage's mission is to provide marriage coaching services to the Manatee and Sarasota community, especially those who are feeling hopeless in their marriage. I am delighted when people who were struggling in their marriage gain renewed hope and encouragement. As a new Non-Profit, our greatest challenge is to find funding and donations to train couples in life skills in the art of marriage. I know firsthand the impact of divorce and the pain it causes in the breakup of a family. Therefore, I have a passion to help others avoid the tragedy of a failed relationship. I have been remarried twenty-five years to my current husband and I know that a happy marriage is gratifying. This passion led me to pursue my Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development. I believe couples utilizing pre-marital and marriage coaching can realize the responsibilities of marriage, which will prevent them from divorcing. Through our program, Building Stronger Marriages, many lives will be transformed disrupting the cycle of domestic strife in relationships and helping generations be saved from a legacy of divorce. I realize that the building block of a community is a healthy family; therefore, it is my desire to help other couples build a stronger marriage.
