Background Statement
For the past 20 years, Calvary Chapel School has provided academic excellence at an affordable price. Students graduating from Calvary Chapel School have consistently entered into honors programs at the high School level. Some have graduated as valedictorian, and have gone on to attend Schools such as Yale, FSU, and UF. Many have gone on to help others in developing nations through humanitarian efforts. It is our goal to continue to keep private Christian education affordable while continuing to be competitive.
In 1996 a couple of moms who wanted affordable Christian education banned together to form a Homeschool Co-op. This Co-op continued to grow.  Calvary Chapel School was established. With the establishment of Calvary Chapel School an affordable, quality Christian school opened to Manatee and Sarasota Counties.

Statement from the Board Chair/Board President
Calvary Chapel Sarasota has been a testimony of God’s providence in private education in the Sarasota and Bradenton area for many years. I have seen the school grow from 70 students up to over 120 students in my time on the board. Many might think this is the gauge by which we measure success, it is not. We measure the success by how the students encourage their peers to righteousness, how they give their time volunteering at their churches and to missions, and how they work as unto the Lord while they attend Calvary Chapel and beyond.
I volunteer on the board because I am called to this ministry. As in any ministry there are challenges we face every year. Spiritual challenges, personal challenges, and financial challenges. We the board are dedicated to seeing the challenges and seeking the Lords will in all of them. Every year the Lord gives us just enough so we can continue but not so much that we don’t depend on Him. When you choose to send your child to CCS you will find that we truly come along side you the parent in enforcing the Biblical principles you are instilling at home.
Statement from the CEO/Executive Director
Calvary Chapel School can be summed up with two words: quality and affordable. Being employed at Calvary Chapel School is  more than just a job, it is a calling. This calling is evident by the passion the teachers have for their students. As a school, Calvary Chapel has become a family atmosphere in which families grow strong as parents raise children alongside one another.

Short Term Success The parenting classes provided by Calvary Chapel School help parents and the school to work together from an agreed upon viewpoint/standard.  When both the school and home mirror each other, the children begin to see a consistency in what is expected of them. With this consistency the students tend to excel academically, because of the cohesiveness between the home and school.
Long Term Success We have seen in the long term the parent/child relationships develop into open relationship where the children begin to look to their parents as assets. The families learn to communicate productively and continue to work toward common goals.
Program Success Monitoring Parent questionnaires help to communicate the effectiveness of the program.
Program Success Examples Many families need a helping hand in understanding childrearing.  Calvary Chapel School helps in bring some clarity to this somewhat daunting task. We have seen families from dysfunctional homes have peace, tranquility and order.

Management Comments by Organization As with any type of social work, employees deal with tremendous stresses. The management has recognized the need to continue to educate the employees on how to cope with stresses that come with dealing with the public. We have found that educating our teachers through different counseling programs help them to deal with their own stresses, and also equip them to help others.

Governance Comments by Organization Yearly the biggest challenge facing Calvary Chapel School is staying true to its scope of being affordable as well as providing quality education. These challenges have been addressed in the past by reaching out to the community to help drive cost down, as well as, finding academic talent in the community to participate in providing the quality of education Calvary Chapel School needs.
