Impact Statement
In 2016, we ministered in live events in Florida, Michigan, Maine, New Hampshire, Missouri, and Indiana. In addition to the live events, we provided monthly written materials through our mailing list with distribution in 24 countries. We also provided free resources through our website including books and CDs. Our goal for 2017 is to expand the number of live events and to broaden our influence through social media and online resources.
Needs Statement
  • Travel related expenses - $500 per event. Approximately 40 events a year. This allows us to assist any organization regardless of their ability to provide financial support.
  • Technology - upgrade office computer system - $800. This would be used to upgrade aging computers.
  • Staffing needs - $45,000. This would enable us to hire a full-time Executive Director.
  • Accounting and Database Software upgrades - $500. This would enable us to upgrade aging software to current programs.
  • Reorder printed and recorded resources - $3000. This would enable us to continue to provide the books and CDs at no charge to the individuals and organization we serve.
Background Statement

Timothy Mark’s passion for an authentic relationship with God is one that has grown and matured since he began in ministry in 1988. It has fueled the growth of the ministry across the United States and Canada. The ministry serves international partners, but we also focus on our home communities. We're proud to have worked with 43 organizations in Manatee, Sarasota, DeSoto, and Charlotte counties to help see their organizations revitalized and to meet the needs of their communities.

“I grew up in a Pastor’s home,” says Mark. “I sat through thousands of services in church and learned a lot about the Bible. At the time, I thought if I followed all the rules I would be a “good Christian.” But what I was missing was relationship, specifically relationship with God. I see the world differently today. I think there are two rules that matter more than all the rest. Christ said as much. He said the most important rule is that I love God with all my heart, with everything I have: all of my mind, all of my soul, and all of my strength going into my relationship with him. When I am genuinely doing that, then the second rule naturally follows. I love others in the same way I love myself. These are the two rules that rule them all. In fact, Christ said that all the other laws hang on these two.”

“The problem is that these two commands have become clichés. On any given Sunday morning, our churches are filled with good, moral, religious people who effectively have no personal relationship with God. It is heartbreaking to me. Around the world, men and women are being beaten, tortured, and imprisoned for their relationship with God. Their commitment to Christ flows from a love for him that is greater than the love of their own lives. It is the real deal. Sadly, this seems to be missing from the vast majority of folks in North America who claim to be Christian.”

This passion for loving God and loving people is what fuels Timothy Mark’s life and ministry today.

Statement from the Board Chair/Board President
Statement from the CEO/Executive Director

It is a privilege to see what God is doing through Timothy Mark Ministries. We are unique in our focus on influence over income. God has proven himself faithful to meet our needs as we continue to focus on meeting the needs of individuals and churches. Ultimately it is God who puts the desire to give on the hearts of our supporters. It is a remarkable thing to watch.

Our goal is to see true change in the Church in North America. I believe this happens one life at a time. Sometimes we forget that churches are not buildings. Instead, they are gatherings of people who are learning to follow Jesus Christ. They are people like you and me who have real needs that can only be met through a personal relationship with God. This is why we do what we do.

It is heartbreaking to see so many churches struggling. But I believe we can reverse the decline of the Church in North America. We are committed to doing everything we can to see this happen. I believe our best days are ahead of us. My prayer is that God would give us influence over all of North America. And I’ve never been more excited about the influence God is giving us as we continue to rely on him.

Short Term Success As a result of the live events, churches will be revitalized and individuals will grow in their personal relationship with God and understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
Long Term Success To see the decline of Christian churches in the United States and Canada reversed as a result of our efforts. There are a record number of church closures each year.
Program Success Monitoring We receive a great deal of feedback through our Facebook and Twitter presence and email from individuals and ministry leaders who have been impacted by the live events and resources.
Program Success Examples I returned to a church in Hudsonville, Michigan where we had presented our work the year before. As I was mingling with the people in the lobby, several people came to me and shared how their lives had been completely changed from the last time I had been there. Finally the Pastor of the church shared with me that their entire church had been revitalized as a result of my last live event. It was very humbling and encouraging to hear.
