Mission
The Rotary Club of Sarasota Keys Foundation, Inc. is an IRS registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that supports the efforts of The Rotary Club of Sarasota Keys, as well as Rotary International, through local, state, and international humanitarian, education, and cultural exchange programs.  It is supported by Club fund raisers, and by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and the friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.

Needs Statement
1. Develop a larger endowment so that the income can be used to increase the support the Foundation spends for youth leadership and educational development, veteran's assistance programs, and West Coast School for Human Development, our Health Career Club, our Interact Club at Booker High School, Juvenile Diabetes, Cancer support groups, community emergency funds for the Greater Sarasota Area, international support projects and local ($3,000,000).
2. Develop annual funds that can be used to help the Rotary Club of Sarasota Keys increase its membership ($5,000 per year).
3. increase the effectiveness of the local business community through networking with experienced Rotarians ($3,000 per year).
4. Work to help the homeless in our area by offering housing support and job re-training programs ($25,000 per year)
5. Provide communications methods to be used to communicate the good that Rotary does in the community in helping to develop business skills for young professionals, helping those in need, supporting our educational institutions, assisting our youth, working with Juvenile Diabetes, Cancer Heart and other health related programs, helping senior adults and addressing many other community needs ($10,000 per year).

students to achieve their dreams of attending college.

Short Term Success The short term goal of this program is to see that
students who have received financial support begin their post secondary
education at a four year college/university.  Success is measured in the
capacity of providing these students with the opportunity to attend such
an institution and have an experience that could inspire them to future
success, that might have been otherwise outside of their family/personal
financial ability to provide.
Long Term Success The long term goal of this program is to see that 75%
of students who have received financial support continue with their
education through the completion of at least a four year post-secondary
degree.
Program Success Monitoring Contact is kept with scholarship recipients and their families through email and phone to determine if they have begun, or are continuing, to attend their post secondary education program.
Program Success Examples Two rounds of scholarships have no been disbursed and the amount of the scholarship has increased from $250 to $400.
