Impact Statement
The ministry is proud to currently serve over 100 families and almost 400 individuals monthly in Charlotte County, FL.  We are looking to serve over 125 families monthly.  In order to accomplish this goal we will need dedicated volunteers and a permanent location for collection, storage, resale and distribution.
Needs Statement
The ministry needs volunteers and donations to be successful.
We are currently looking for a commercial building to become our permanent  resell, collection and distribution center.  With the center, we will be able to double the number of children, families, elderly, veterans and disabled we can help monthly.

Background Statement
The founder, in a nightly conversation with god she asked, "How can I help give to the community?" After the intimate conversation, the ministry was born. When sharing the blessing with friends, neighbors and community members she took notice of their responses. She then began to asked for input. Here main questions was,  "What could we give to each other that is a necessity of daily life?" It was discovered that most assistance programs do not provide hygiene and toiletries products.  Items like soap, toothpaste, toiliet paper, feminine products are costly and sometimes overlook as a necessity for a healthy life. From that neighbors helping neighbors became our giving source.  If "neighbors" would give unused items to sell, or donate hygeine/ tolities items along with volunteering time we could help families, children, disabled and elderly in our communities.   Now, we had a vision and a name.  Share The Blessing Ministry.  In 2010, Share The Ministry helped 8 families in September.  In June of 2012, we helped over 60 families and 186 individuals in Charlotte County.

Statement from the Board Chair/Board President
As an organization Share The Blessings Ministry has been blessed and honored to help many families with basic needs.  We feel that these blessings are 100% in part to the our community.  Our loyal volunteers and donors make the monthly possible.  Since 2011, we have not missed one distribution or turned anyone away we have always been blessed.  With the increase in need our biggest challenge is looking for a location that we can use to have an office, storage and space to sell and distribute more often to those in need.
Statement from the CEO/Executive Director
Share The Blessing Ministry is unique in that we provide special needs to families, children, elderly and the disabled of basic hygiene(soap, toothpaste, feminine products), cleaning(bleach, laundry soap) and paper products(napkins, toilet paper) to help those in need to live a healthy life.  We are the only agency that specifically gives health and hygiene products.
Programs
Description Our Neighbors helping Neighbors program allows community members to share blessing with those in the community that are less fortunate.  Most take for granted the basic necessities of hygiene, items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine products, cleaning and laundry soaps are costly. Most often are not considered a necessity and are cut out for food or other needs.  Our program helps with those needs and are hopeful by giving these services those families and individuals will be healthier.

Short Term Success We would consider our program successful in the short-term if we continue to have the blessings of the community to support the cause thru donations, networking and volunteering.   In addition, we are able to continue to provide services to our community members in need.
Long Term Success Our success will be measured by providing as many individuals with items needed for hygiene and personal needs .  With a commercial location the ministry will be able to provide more opportunities for resell, collection, storage and distribution.
Program Success Monitoring Our success is monitored by documenting, regular tracking of families and individuals that receive blessings monthly.  By keeping track of the individuals and families we provide service for we will be able to monitor how our blessings have provided a healthier lifestyle.
Program Success Examples Since 2010, we have had a 75% growth.  The first month we provided 8 individuals with services.  In June 2012, we provided services for over 70 families and 170 individuals.
